New and returning lots this month

The end of September will bring 3 fantastic coffees at the roastery: two beloved lots returning with their 2025 crops and one completely new discovery we can’t wait to share.

Coffee is seasonal

Each harvest reflects the conditions of its year and for us, that means the return of a coffee is never just a repeat. It’s a chance to rediscover it in a new expression, shaped by the work done at the farm and the people behind it.

From the very beginning of Peacocks Coffee, we’ve kept a rotating single-origin offering list to highlight seasonality and showcase how dynamic coffee can be. This gives our customers the chance to explore an ever-evolving menu. On some occasions, we bring back a lot we particularly love. When that happens, it means two things: we’re continuing to support a farm we value collaborating with and the coffee has shown stable quality year after year, sometimes even improving and surprising us. (Think of the Excelsa from Mooleh Manay, which will return too!)

Here’s what’s coming this month:

Sheka Estate, Ethiopia

We’re thrilled to welcome back this washed Ethiopian from the protected biosphere of Sheka Forest. Elegant, vibrant and so easy to drink as both espresso or filter.

Don Alexis Thermic Catuai, Costa Rica

Incredibly complex and sweet. It was the coffee we used at the Italian Barista Championship 2024, helping us achieve 2nd place. This marks our third year working with Don Alexis and Grounds Coffee, whose dedication we are proud to celebrate.

The third one?

We’re keeping this one under wraps for now, but it’s a lot we are buying for the first time!

Because our offering list is short and carefully curated, every coffee we bring in reflects not only flavor excellence but also the sourcing values we stand for: long-term relationships, respect for agricultural practices and a genuine curiosity for new discoveries.
